Al Ain University Joins MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability (MEBAS)
Al Ain University has joined the MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability (MEBAS), marking a new step in advancing its role in promoting sustainability and responsible management education at both regional and international levels.
This membership reflects the University’s strategic commitment to embedding sustainability principles within its academic and research frameworks, particularly through the College of Business, while strengthening collaboration with leading business schools across the MENA region.
As part of this milestone, Al Ain University has been featured on the MEBAS interactive map, reinforcing its position among prominent institutions dedicated to sustainable development and responsible business education.
Through this partnership, the University seeks to expand impactful academic collaborations, support the integration of sustainable business practices, and enhance the engagement of faculty members, students, and the wider community in initiatives that address regional and global sustainability challenges.
Prof. Ghaleb Al Refae, President of Al Ain University, emphasized that the University’s membership in MEBAS represents a strategic step that reflects its strong commitment to sustainability and its role in preparing graduates capable of meeting the demands of sustainable development and the future job market.
