Empowering Innovation: Al Ain University Students Prepare for National Entrepreneurship Competition
The College of Business organized at Abu Dhabi campus, a workshop titled “Catalyzing Entrepreneurship: From Classroom Ideas to National Competition. Empowering Students to Transform Innovation into Real-World Impact” in collaboration with Injaz UAE, attended by Dr. Wejdan Farhan, Dr. Jamil Razmak, and Dr. Yasin Karsoo.
The workshop is part of the College’s ongoing initiatives to develop students’ entrepreneurial skills and bridge academic learning with practical business experience. Delivered by representatives from Injaz UAE, the session aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and prepare students for participation in the Injaz Company Program, a national competition designed to cultivate innovation, leadership, and enterprise creation among university students.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the program’s structure and objectives, which challenge students to conceive, launch, and manage their own start-up ventures. The session emphasized the development of essential entrepreneurial skills such as teamwork, financial management, strategic planning, and innovation, along with practical guidance on business development and strategies for excelling in the competition.
By incorporating mentorship and networking opportunities, the workshop provided a supportive environment for students to refine their ideas and transform them into actionable business models. Ultimately, the initiative equipped participants with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to turn innovative concepts into sustainable entrepreneurial outcomes within a real-world competitive context.
