An awareness lecture on the occasion of No-Tobacco World Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, in collaboration with Al Jahili Health Center, organized a health event for World No Tobacco Day under the slogan "Smoking Threatens Our Lives." The event featured a lecture on the harms of smoking, the diseases it causes, its impact on smokers and those around them, and methods to combat it. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hazem Al Khalidi, a family medicine specialist at Al Jahili Health Center. Additionally, the center offered free blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol tests, as well as comprehensive periodic examinations for some male and female employees.
