Al Ain University Earns AACSB International Accreditation
The College of Business at Al Ain University has earned the AACSB international accreditation. AACSB is obtained by distinguished business schools around the world, which indicates that Al Ain University has been able to achieve standards of excellence in education and quality in the programs of the College of Business.
The AACSB founded in 1916, is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network connecting learners, educators, and businesses worldwide. Obtaining the AACSB international accreditation is an assurance towards quality of education in any educational institution that offers degrees in the field of business. It is granted to business schools that adhere to quality standards, after conducting numerous field visits for extended periods of time. All university cadres, including faculty and administrative staff, students and graduates, in addition to representatives from the labor market, have contributed to obtaining this accreditation.
Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, stressed that the solidarity and cooperation of faculty, staff and students along with the strategic partners to raise the efficiency, quality of education, its outputs, and the diligent work over continuous years has resulted in the achievement of obtaining this accreditation. He also pointed out that, the international accreditation of the College of Business enhances its position among similar colleges in international universities, expands the areas of cooperation with various business sectors, and facilitate graduate’s admission to master’s programs at the most prestigious universities.
“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions of excellence in all areas including; teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB. “We congratulate Al Ain University and college’s Deans on earning accreditation, and applaud the entire College of Business team—including the administration, faculty, staff, and students—for their roles in earning this respected honor.”
