Engineering Students Participate in AI Hackathon

Engineering students took part in the AI Hackathon held during ADIPEC 2025 on November 6, 2025, where the challenge focused on developing prototype solutions that address sustainability-related issues using artificial intelligence technologies.

Participants presented innovative ideas during rapid-prototyping and project-pitch sessions, allowing them to showcase their technical and creative skills while working collaboratively in a dynamic and competitive environment. The team was represented by students Samir Khuffash and Muhammad Imad, under the supervision of Dr. Yazeed Ghadi and Eng. Zaid Hadya.

The hackathon concluded with the announcement of the top three winning projects, recognizing their innovation and excellence. This participation reflects the students’ dedication to expanding their practical experience and leveraging innovation platforms to enhance their skills in artificial intelligence and sustainability.
