Collaboration Agreement Between Al Ain University and Al Noor University to Strengthen Academic and Research Cooperation

The President of Al Ain University, Profز Ghaleb El Refae, signed a cooperation agreement with Al Noor University in Iraq, represented by its President, Professor Yassin Al-Hajjar. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ibtehal Abu Rezeq, Vice President for Development and Follow-up Affairs, and Prof. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Vice President for Accreditation and Quality Assurance Affairs, along with several guests from Al Noor University.

This agreement aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration between Al Ain University and Al Noor University across various scientific fields. It also seeks to facilitate the exchange of academic and research expertise between faculty members, as well as to organize joint student exchange programs between the two universities, providing students with opportunities to gain new educational experiences and enhance their academic and professional skills.

The agreement also includes the development of joint research projects and opens doors for collaboration in areas that serve the local and regional communities. Additionally, it promotes the organization of periodic scientific conferences and workshops. This agreement represents a significant step in enhancing academic relations between educational institutions in the region, contributing to the advancement of higher education and the elevation of academic and research quality.

In line with the agreement, and on the sidelines of the opening of the Fourth International Conference of the Arab Association for Sport Psychology titled "Sports for Sustainable Development and Peacebuilding," which was jointly organized with Al Noor University, Prof. Majed Al-Saleh, Professor of Sports Training at Al Ain University, received the conference shield on behalf of Professor El Refae. Al Ain University was recognized as one of the key partners in the success of the conference, which was held in Dubai from September 5-7, 2024, under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Surour Al Sharqi. The event was attended by an elite group of scholars in sports psychology and sports sciences from 14 Arab and European countries.
