An MOU between the College of Education at Al Ain University and the College of Arts at the Dresden University of Technology

The College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at Al Ain University (AAU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the College of Arts for Humanities and Social Sciences at the Dresden University of Technical in Germany to consolidate the bilateral cooperation relations between the two parties. The MOU was signed by Prof. Bruno Klein- Dean of the College of Arts- Dresden University of Applied Sciences, and Dr. Sana Ashour- Director of the Applied Sociology Program- at the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, on behalf of the College of Education at Al Ain University.

The MOU aims to enhance academic and cultural exchange in the fields of education and scientific research, encourage faculty visits to promote research and educational activities, cooperate to hold conferences and academic activities, publish joint research and exchange academic research publications and scientific information. It also includes an agreement to facilitate student exchange by hosting qualified students for the purpose of enrolling in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Prof. Ghaleb El-Refae AAU President, expressed the importance of the agreement, which enhances the development of the university programs and provides research and training opportunities that contribute to enhancing knowledge and exchange experiences between the two sides and making the most of the capabilities available to both parties in areas of common interest. He pointed out that cooperation with the Dresden University of Technical will promote the development of new research and technical projects with positive impacts on society.

The Dresden University of Technical is one among the ten most prestigious universities in Germany, and it is one of the oldest and largest "technical universities" in Germany, with 17 colleges, offering 124 specializations ranging from health sciences, biomedicine, bioengineering, information technology and electronics Microfinance, smart materials, facilities, energy, mobility and the environment as well as culture and societal change.
