AAU discuss the Master’s Thesis Remotely

Al Ain University, Al Ain campus, discussed the first two master's degrees theses remotely, for the students; Rawda Al-Mansoori from the College of Law, Department of Public Law, her thesis entitled “The effect of lack of specialization on the legitimacy of the administrative decision (a comparative study)”, and Nisreen Maayouf from the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, in the Arabic Language Curricula and Instruction program, her thesis discussed the effectiveness of using a differentiated education strategy in developing reading comprehension skills for fourth grade students in the United Arab Emirates.

The two thesis were discussed through the (Teams) System, which is approved by the Ministry of Education, where the university's Information Technology Center provided all the requirements for conducting the remote discussion process, in the presence of the discussion committee formed by the supervisors of the two students.

Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, explained that the discussion of the first Master's thesis from a distance confirms the readiness of Al Ain University and its continued completion of its thesis towards leadership and excellence. Appreciating the efforts made by the UAE to ensure the continuity of the educational process for all students in accordance with the best standards.

Dr. Ibtehal Abu Rezeq, Dean of Student Affairs and the Supervisor of the student Nisreen Maayouf thesis said that, this step comes to activate the efforts of Al Ain University to achieve its work remotely, facilitating graduate students in discussing and completing their educational projects, and granting them the academic degrees without delay, using the technique of “remote” communication.

Dr. Mostafa Qandil, Dean of the College of Law, stated, pointing on the importance of following up the educational process, especially in the field of graduate studies in light of the current conditions witnessed by the UAE, praising the efforts of the discussion committee and all university cadres who contributed to the success of the distance learning process and facilitating the task of students in continuing to receive their cognitive achievement.
