Comic plays and Entertainment competitions in the “Pharmacy Open Day”

The Pharmacy students at Al Ain University represented a variety of entertainment activities during the "Pharmacy Open Day" organized by the College of Pharmacy at Abu Dhabi campus, and attended by Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, Dr. Mohammad Ghattas, Deputy Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Hani Al Jarrah, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, and number of the academic staff and students.

The open day started with opening the Virtual Pharmacy by the Vice President and the Deputy Dean of the College of Pharmacy. It is the first virtual pharmacy in Abu Dhabi Campus which represents a real model for the pharmacies of the external community, it aims to enhance the pharmacy student’s skills through practicing the pharmaceutical work before entering the labor market.
A variety of theater performances, entertainment competitions, drawing and singing, as well as video shows, were presented by the students and received enthusiastic interaction from the audience.
On the other hand, and in line with the Year of Tolerance in the UAE, a cultural exhibition was organized by the students to show their works, in addition to, the traditional food from other cultures to promote a culture of tolerance among different cultures.

Organizing this day aims to entertain the students before the exams, creating a recreational atmosphere away from the daily study routine, in addition to enhancing communication between students and their teachers.
Dr. Ghattas expressed his pride of the students, their high skills and their ability to organize an integrated entertainment day that brought happiness to everyone.
