A distinctive participation AAU in the Special Olympics
During honoring the winning teams at the Special Olympics World Games, Abu Dhabi 2019, Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, praised the student’s participation and stressed on the importance of volunteering which would develop new skills and abilities, acquire new experiences and further self-development, strengthen the CV of the volunteer and enhance his employment prospects.
Twenty students from the Al Ain University volunteered at the Special Olympics in coordinating events, assisting sports officials, supporting technical systems and other voluntary fields.
The participation of AAU students in the Special Olympics came in recognition of the importance of this Olympics as the largest voluntary place in the world.
