AAU –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a lecture entitled “The Future of Knowledge Management and the Large Data”
In collaboration with College of Business Administration, Al Ain University – Abu Dhabi Campus- hosted Dr. John Gerrard from Middle Georgia State University, and who is engaged in the Fulbright Specialist Program from the United States,presented a lecture entitled “The Future of Knowledge Management and the Large Data” for faculty and students of the College.
Dr. Gerard started with a general definition about knowledge, big data, the manager’s role in decision-making, and the difficulty of this role in general.After that, he defined the concept of data mining and how to use this knowledge for the benefit of human progress and special projects in medicine, science and business.
The lecture was attended by a number of professors and students of the university; They also discussed some points on the subject of the lecture.
