Meeting about the “Excellence Award in Accounting and Finance”
Anxious to encourage the students and motivate the spirit of competition, the College of Business Administration organized a meeting between Ernst & Young (EY) Training Center and students of the college in Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus, to talk about the “Excellence Award in Accounting and Finance”, it was presented by Liliane Hamzeh, HR Senior Manager, and Maha Al Adhami, Manager in EY Training Department.
Liliane Hamzeh started with a brief about the center, training courses, performance improvement and how to enroll to the center.
Then, Al Adhami talked about the “Excellence in Accounting & Finance Award program 2016”. The award honors top Business Management students, which in turn, motivates and inspires them for the next chapter of their working lives. Through the award program, EY recognizes the efforts of the top nominated Business Management students amongst the participating universities.
All candidates’ applications will be screened and the best 3 candidates who have achieved outstanding grades in accounting and finance subjects and who have a positive business acumen will be invited to the EY assessment center during the month of March 2016 where they will be interviewed, tested and will participate in a group case study activity.
Accordingly, the top 5 students out of all participating universities will be awarded. He or she will receive an award letter, an iWatch and a 2 month internship contract with EY Training Center as an appreciation of his/her efforts. In addition to that, the overall top student out of all the participating universities will receive a sponsorship for a professional certificate of choice from Ernst & Young - Abu Dhabi, worth AED 15,000.
She said: “Education is vital to the long-term health of any society. Through our award, we help students work hard to achieve their potentials, find meaningful work and make economic contributions to their communities”.
